May Madness

While most Americans celebrate March Madness, we here at Bartender2Go celebrate May Madness!!! What's not to celebrate in May? We kick the month off with the Kentucky Derby (yea, Mint Julep!!!, see recipe below), followed by Cinco de Mayo! Let's not forget Mother's Day & Graduation!!! And Memorial Day rounds up the month! Mint Julep

1t. granulated sugar
5-6 sprigs of fresh mint Crushed Ice
3oz Kentucky Bourbon

Put mint, sugar, and a small amount of crushed or shaved ice into the bottom of a julep cup or tall glass. Muddle ingredients. Top with Bourbon & stir well. Garnish with mint sprig!!!

Bartender2Go Started The Green Movement

Bartender2Go went "Green" long before the trendy green movement. And we are still green! We encourage recycling, the use of glass instead of plastic and we carpool or metro whenever possible!!



Let's not forget, we add plenty of green to your drinks!!! From fresh mint and ripe limes, to refreshing cucumbers, we keep it green. Try our new Cucumber Mojito and our Classic Mojito! Whatever you do, go Green!!! Don't forget to book your July, August & September events now!!!!

Cucumber Mojito


1 cucumber thinly sliced
2 bunches of mint
1 (750ml) bottle of clear rum
8 tablespoons of sugar
4 ounces of fresh lime juice
club soda

Infuse Rum overnight: Let cucumbers, rum, 1 bunch of mint, sugar, and lime sit in a glass picture in refrigerator overnight. The next day shake & drain the rum into a different picture. When ready to serve pour infused rum over ice, add fresh mint and a cucumber slice and lime. Top with a splash of club soda. Makes 6-8 glasses.



Our Famous Mojito


8 - 10 Mint leaves
2 Tablespoons of granulated white sugar
1/3 Lime cut into wedges
2 Ounces of light rum
Club soda

With a wooden spoon or muddle, crush the mint, sugar & limes in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add rum, continue to muddle. Add ice, top with club soda & cover glass & shake twice or stir with a mixing spoon. Garnish with mint and enjoy!
