Giving Thanks For The Pumpkin Bowl

We’re just a few days away from what a client coined as the Turkey Party, and just like any “party” or day of thanks you plan on having, we want you to be fully prepared. Need something to go with that pumpkin pie? Want to wash down the pounds of turkey & mashed potatoes you plan on consuming. Try a cool Thanksgiving day spiked apple cider punch. For extra oooohs and ahhhs from your in-laws, carve and scoop out a pumpkin and serve the punch directly in your “pumpkin bowl”.

Have a happy & safe holiday.

Tis The Season

Our costumes are barely packed away from Halloween, but there is no time like the present to begin preparing for the holiday season, and around these parts, we LOVE to spread joy, cheer and merriment. One of our favorite ways of giving cheer is coming up with a tasty drink for you & your guests during the holiday season. We have a few to get you in the spirit!

Poinsettia
Chilled Champagne
Chilled cranberry Juice

In a champagne flute pour about an ounce of cranberry juice. Fill the rest of the glass with cold champagne or sparkling wine. A good brand that’s easy on the pockets is Cristallino! Garnish with frozen cranberries. Cheers.

Chocolate Covered Mint-tini
1oz. Godiva Liqueur
2oz. Clear Crème de Menthe
2oz. Baileys
Splash of milk or half & half optional (for a less potent drink!)

In a martini shaker filled with ice, combine the liquors, and optional ingredient. Shake & strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a mint sprig and chocolate shavings!

Mastering the Martini Party

Martini's are the new sexy. Below is a sample of martini's we made for a recent bridal shower this fall. In addition to providing the class instruction, glassware & package, we came up with a handy dandy post-card (front & back) that displayed the lovely betrothed couple on the front, and a list of drinks we would make that day on the back. Drink-up and enjoy!
